Dr. Press left the international law firm McDermott Will & Emery to join the Düsseldorf office of Kliemt & Vollstädt on 1 November 2009, and had previously spent several years with a medium-sized employment law firm. In 2005 she was awarded her doctorate on the subject of "Target agreements in employment law - scope for formation, legal nature and legitimacy" under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Feuerborn. Whilst completing her doctorate, she worked in the international corporate law firm Lovells.

Dr. Press advises both national and international companies on all matters of individual and collective employment law and represents her clients in cases both in court and out of court. The focal points of her work lie in the development and design of systems of remuneration and bonuses, and also in advising companies on the optimisation of personnel costs (e.g. through the reduction of social benefit contributions) and matters concerning works constitution law.
